Also, since a personality is complex, these "characterisations" may call to different parts in personality. On one hand, one may be interested in a secure home and family, on the other hand, adventure and action is something many people seek. Same for "the own way", "independence" etc. This hits an old problem of categorization: the extension of the range (of a theory) goes on the cost of the precision of it. In the extreme, the theory becomes tautological: all democracies involve a consideration of the people (this statement is already given in "democracy").
