In 1924, the Bronx Zoo tested the relative strength of a 165-pound man against a 165-pound chimpanzee. Using a dynamometer, which measures strength by the force of a pull on a spring, the man was able to pull 210 pounds. The chimp pulled almost 900. The lesson: Don’t mess with the apes. Pound for pound, chimpanzees are about five times stronger than humans. In fact, a human is no match for a chimpanzee, regardless of its age or sex. In the same Bronx experiment, a 135-pound female chimp pulled a whopping 1,260 pounds. Scientists also estimate that, at the tender age of five, young chimpanzees are already stronger than adult humans.

This is what makes 'domesicated' chimpanzees so dangerous: They know from observing that they are stronger than their keepers.

ich habe heute einen riesenmonster schweren heizkoerper quer durchs zimmer getragen und ein bett die treppe hoch! ich bin so stark, ich fuehl mich fast wie ein schimpanse,

ich befuerchte ich rieche sogar so!

wenn ich wieder geduscht hab und klein, schwach und abenteuerlustig bin, machen wir dann mal was, mit andrew wenn er da ist vielleicht? wir kommen kitkat-feiern oder wir sehen uns wenn du zu deinen eltern faehrst? faend ich beides ganz super!

ich fände das ganz super toll! wie lang bleibt andrew denn? kitkat ist immer am ersten samstag im monat, ich würd ich zu gern mit hin nehmen! nächstes we schon, vielleicht? da müsstet ihr u.U. aber auch mit auf einen film des fantasyfilmfests kommen ;) na, mal sehen. toll fänd ich es! ansonsten anfang september...
