it highly annoys me that i get only very few comment notifications. i found at least 4-5 comments just looking a little bit backwards, where i got answers on, but no notification.
getting no notification when people add or remove u from a buddy list is worse imho. every once in a while i remove everyone from my friends list who doesnt have me signed up as buddy as well (in addition to removing people whos lj seems to consist only of "what ... are you" and surveys and jokes), and add people who added me but i dont know them (yet). no idea why there is no notification message for that stuff.
