elfyYesterday I wrote a longer email for my father. Not too long, but... more then just a few lines.
I didn't expect that he answers, at least not per mail. I even told him that. I thought he would phone me, maybe.
And it wasn't so easy to write him... I always have a hard time deciding what to tell and such.
Today (right now) I got the answer. I am surprised... it's a very nice mail and rather long. He wants to pay me a new burner. Tells me about a book he wrote. Gives options for my 'what to do after my apprenticeship' problem...
I am not sure how true all that is. I mean... he was always good at promising things he didn't keep in the end... he can be very nice, but just so he gets out of trouble. Well, anyway. I'll see where this leads.

Gestern habe ich eine längere Mail an meinen Vater geschrieben. Nicht zu lang, aber doch mehr als ein paar Zeilen.
Ich habe keine Antwort erwartet, zumindest nicht per Mail. Ich schrieb ihm das sogar. Ich dachte er ruft vielleicht an.
Es war nicht so einfach, ihm zu schreiben... ich weiß immer nicht, was ich erzählen soll.
Heute (eben grade) habe ich die Antwort bekommen. Ich bin überrascht... es ist eine sehr nette Mail und recht lang noch dazu. Er will mir einen neuen Brenner kaufen. Erzählt mir von einem Buch, das er geschrieben hat. Bietet mir Lösungen für mein 'was tun nach der Ausbildung' Problem an...
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, für wie voll ich das alles nehmen soll. Ich meine... er war immer gut darin Dinge zu versprechen und sie dann nicht zu halten... er kann sehr nett sein, aber im Grunde nur, damit er möglichst wenig Ärger hat. Naja, mal sehen wohin das führt.

Einen Vater der viel verspricht und nix hält, kann ich auch mein Eigen nennen. Zum Glück ist er jetzt da wo der Pfeffer wächst.
