Eidetiker / Eidetics

Looking for more information on psychology of colors I found out about a... 'disorder' called Eidetik (Eidetics?). It's really fascinating, I think and instead of going on working I find myself looking for more about this topic. Persons who have this or better, are this, are sometimes described to have a photographic memory, to see colors more intensive, to be able to imagine things much more lively, but they also tend to hallucinate. Goethe was an Eidetic, as are quite some artists who are that, not few without even knowing it.
I think thats the first 'disorder' I'd like to have...

I wonder if Eidetics is related to Synaesthesia (http://web.mit.edu/synesthesia/www/synesthesia.html)? I have Synaesthesia. I "see" sounds in colour.

^-^ aw. du bist so lieb! danke. ich hab das englische buch leider [also nicht leider o.O; ich liebe es!!] schon. ich suche noch die deutsche ausgabe davon, deshalb ists so schwer zu finden ;-; und kostet üüber 40 euro ;-; naja. aber trotzdem lieben dank du! *knuddel*
