what just happened

So, I went bringing back a movie to the videostore and felt the deep desire for 'Mikado' (they are called Pokey Sticks in english, I think), so I had to walk to the last shop open near by, the HL. I went in, grabbed toast, I remembered ours was empty, looked for the Mikado and got them, too. Went to the till (?) and heard how someone asked for photo films. The woman said they don't have any and I mentioned he could try it at the gas station and he thanked me. As he stood behind me in the line I said I could also sell him some film rolls, I still have quite some at home. He was surprised and saw it as a joke, I didn't say anything anymore, because I had to pay. I said good bye and went outside. A few seconds later he walked a bit next to me, but he walked quicker then I did. Before he was gone I said aloud, that I meaned that in the shop, the thing about the film roll. He walked slowlier and I catched up with him and he asked where I live. I told him (5 minutes walk). We talked a bit, about this and that and that he wants to go on holidays and forgot the film and so on and I took him home with me. He said he knows me from somewhere and we found out he was one class above me in elementary school and that he went to the AKG, a school next to mine, after elementary school.
I also told him he has to send me postcards, heh :)
Funny thing, all that.
