We're still focusing on the Nooks and Crannies theme but moving along to your lounge or main living area. Do you have any forgotten shelves, corners, little drawers or cupboards that rarely get opened? This is your chance to visit them, look carefully and see if what needs to happen - maybe some clutter clearing, or cleaning and re-organising, it might even need a little dusting. I cleaned the fridge, inside and out.

All the ingredient-produce items from the past couple grocery runs are cut up and ready to go for bibimbap/kimbap/stirfry over the next week or so.

The inside of the fridge looks and feels so much better. ☆

And the kitchen feels so much better. Part of meal prep included clearing out/re-organizing the counter space.

Best of all, doing this means that next week will be MUCH EASIER as far as spending/food/planning. I include all of the logistical, planning, and purchase-related events as intangible de/cluttering.

We're a bit further into the second week of June than I intended but work days are long and relaxation time to post (or do my own bite-sizing) is brief. The focus this week is to turn attention to the nooks and crannies in the kitchen - is there a little used cupboard or drawer or maybe even just a shelf or windowsill that needs a bit of a clean and clear? Or maybe it's a time to clean the filter in above your stove if you had one or to clean the kettle or dishwasher out. Remember the job doesn't need to be huge, it just needs to be in one of those that get missed in the big clean, that little spot you always think 'I'll catch that later/next time'.

Enjoy what's left of your week.

What? You mean that cookie dough from over a year ago can go bad? Even if it's frozen?

... The freezer now has a lot less cookie dough in it. RIP last spring's cookies. The aroma of freezer burn invaded my kitchen when I baked you. It was not meant to be.

Introducing

seasons_of_fandom, an interactive fandom challenge community/landcomm that allows you to create work for any fandom you can think of! We were previously

lands_of_magic, a name we ran under for over 10 years, but we figured we needed a facelift and a name change since it has been a long time since we had only focused on fantasy fandoms. We welcome TV, movies, books, games, music, anime, celebrities... almost anything goes! We have all kinds of challenges- writing, graphics, games, and some challenges that are miscellaneous fanworks! This round we'll also be trying out monthly drabble and icon contests.

We have four wonderful teams- The Spring Court, The Summer Court, The Autumn Court, and The Winter Court.

Sign-ups for new members start today, and though our first round under our new name doesn't start until August, we will have two challenges open before the round officially starts. To sign up, all you have to do is read the rules and fill out the survey here.
