Well, I was told the operation went as planned and everything is fine, but god does Naomi look horrible. She is still *very* dizzy and slow, nearly unable to walk, if she tries to it looks as if she is highly drunk. I hope she will get better quickly.

Also, man sagte mir die OP sei wie geplant verlaufen und alles sei in Ordnung, aber meine Güte sieht Naomi furchtbar aus. Sie ist wohl noch *sehr* verwirrt und langsam und fast unfähig zu laufen und wenn sie es tut sieht es aus, als wäre sie sehr betrunken. Ich hoffe es geht ihr bald besser.

Mach dir keine Sorgen, Jack und Lille sind auch rumgetorkelt wie nicht mehr ganz dicht nach der OP. Sie brauchen ein bisschen Zeit, dann sind sie wieder munter - manchmal zu munter, weil sie sich ja wegen der Narbe *eigentlich* ein bisschen schonen sollten. ^_~

When our cat Maeve got spayed many years ago, she was home and walking around sore and the like. Then, she caught her foot on a leash we had left out and freaked. Of course, she decided to run away from it. And since it was attached to her foot, it followed her... Which lead to her tearing around the house at full gallop trying to get away from the leash that was chasing after her.

Fortunately, we headed her off and got her to stop for a moment so we could detach the leash and she didn't hurt herself.

She'll be fine. They had to sedate the hell out of my cat Perdita - partly because she apparently attempted to kill every single person who came within about five feet of her. My mother found out about this when the receptionist at the vet's led her to 'Dit and in spite of being quite drugged, she gave her best shot at screaming at the receptionist and waving her claws at her until my mother came in, and 'Dit stopped and said, "Pppprrrrt?"

She was drugged for days . . .

And she's fine. So don't worry. *grins* Your kitty should be fine tomorrow.

hm...mein hund lag tagelang mit seinem dämlichen plastikmäntelchen auf der couch rum, hat kritisch geschaut (in etwa: "nicht schon wieder, oder") und wenn man sie streicheln wollte, hat sie kläglich angefangen zu heulen.
und direkt nachdem sie aus der narkose aufgewacht und aufgestanden ist, ist sie erstmal wieder umgefallen.

wir hatten tagelang unseren spaß.
und ich glaube, sie hasst mich heute noch dafür ;-)
