elfy* For the first time I am tempted to use icons someone else made. Hn. Should I? *ponders*
* I had two new ideas for soulbooks, I will try to work on them this weekend. For one of it I would need pictures out of a picture catalogue I own, which I love dearly. So, should I try to get the same catalogue again (will be anything but easy) or do I scan and print the pictures, as I now have a new scanner and a fine new printer? But this will waste quite some ink.
* I am making ready a package for someone and I should work on at least three other packages as well. But I think I have motivation for this today, so it will be okay. Also need to make a tiny website for the wild soulbooks I am making, one is already out of my hands.
* Because I, Robot was not in the cinemas anymore, unfortunalty, I saw Hellboy a third time on thurstday, with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
seefuchs. Yeah, some movies I can see often like that in a short time. Now it's enough for while, but I will definatly get the DVD when it comes out. Am happy seefuchs liked the movie.
Yesterday evening I searched for fanfiction. I prefer german fiction, but for now I just looked for english fics. Well, I found some just about Abe (character-fics), they were nice, then a Hellboy and Liz f*ck the first time, which was so-so... okay, I'd guess, but some things were missing or awkward. Then I went on and found two Hellboy/Meyes slash stories which were a nice read. And last but not least I found a 'Abe is kidnapped and forced being a porn-star (WTF? but intereting idea *g*) and gets rescued by a horrible Mary Sue character'. Well, after these first good/okay stories I really wondered, where all the crap stories were.
* This weekend I will hopefully meet with Alex and this eplus boss, to talk about the possible job. I just hope it works out. Somehow I fear, Alex is too unorganised. Which would be really bad. Well I'll see.

* Das erste Mal bin ich wirklich versucht, Usericons zu verwenden, die jemand anders gemacht hat. Hn. Sollte ich? *überleg*
* Ich hatte zwei neue Ideen für Seelenbücher, ich werde versuchen am Wochenende an ihnen zu arbeiten. Für eines brauche ich Bilder aus einem meiner Bildkataloge, einem, den ich sehr sehr mag. Also, sollte ich versuchen ein zweites Exemplar dieses Kataloges aufzutreiben (was alles andere als einfach sein wird) oder scanne ich die Bilder mit meinem schönen neuen Scanner und drucke sie mit meinem feinen neuen Drucker aus? Das aber wird auf jeden fall einiges an Tinte verbrauchen.
* Ich mache für jemanden ein Päckchen fertig und eigentlich sollte ich noch mindestens drei andere fertig machen. Aber ich denke, ich hab heute auch die Motivation dazu, also ist das ok. Ich muss außerdem eine kleine Website für die wilden Seelenbücher basteln, die ich gemacht habe, eines ist schon nicht mehr bei mir.
* Weil I, Robot leider schon gar nicht mehr in den Kinos ist, war ich am Donnerstag das dritte Mal in Hellboy, diesmal zusammen mitseefuchs. Ja, manche Filme kann ich so oft hintereinander in so einer kurzen Zeit sehen. Ist jetzt aber auch genug damit. Aber ich werde mir definitiv die DVD holen, wenn sie rauskommt. Hab mich gefreut, dass seefuchs der Film auch gefallen hat.
Gestern Abend habe ich ein bisschen nach Fanfiction gesucht. Eigentlich ziehe ich deutsche vor, aber erstmal hab ich nur nach englischer gesucht. Nun, ich hab welche über Abe gefunden (Charakter-Fics), die waren ganz nett, dann eine Hellboy und Liz vögeln das erste Mal, die war so najaaaa... ganz okay soweit, aber ein paar Dinge waren seltsam oder haben meiner Meinung nach gefehlt. Dann hab ich weiter gesucht und fand zwei Hellboy/Meyes Slashgeschichten, die sehr nett zu lesen waren. Und zu guter letzt fand ich eine 'Abe wird entführt und gezwungen, in Pornos mitzuspielen (Was zur Hölle? Aber, interessante idee *g*) und wird schließlich von einer fürchterlichen Mary Sue gerettet'. Nun, nach diesen ersten guten bis mittelmäßigen Geschichten habe ich mich wirklich gefragt, wo all die richtig schlechten abgeblieben sind.
* Dieses Wochenende treffe ich mich hoffentlich mit Alex und diesem e-Plus Chef, um über diesen möglichen Job zu reden. Ich hoffe nur, es klappt auch wirklich. Ich fürchte ja ein wenig, Alex ist zu unorganisiert, um das auf die Reihe zu bekommen. Was wirklich sehr blöd wäre. Nun, ich werds sehn.

It also reminds me of that joke about Bush where he says "The problem with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur."

Date: 2004-09-25 01:28 pm (UTC)Sometimes I do it the other way round, but then I tend to use german words I don't know the english translation or and have to look it up at dict.leo.org (and right this weekend the site is down). When I write very emotional entries, it is more likely to happen I write in german first.
I use pretty many english words in my german vocabulary, but only if I think other (germans) know what I mean. Like, Usericons, Website, Fanfiction,...
