Yesterday was the intermediate presentation of the work we've done for our short animation until now (not much on my side...) and there were some fun things and daaaamn... one of the guys talked about his idea and showed his storyboard and I guess at first everbody thought he was being a bit too ambitious. He basically wants to make a fake advertisement for the wii fit and he wants to mix real filming and 3D. And well... he showed a short clip afterwards, just a few seconds, a shaky camera coming closer to his desk. And he said this was a first test. And I guess everybody was at first 'wtf?', because, well, it just looked like there was nothing special, just someone randomly zooming in to his desk. But after a short moment everybody was like o.O, because there was something lying on his desk, a blue... something, which you hadn't really noticed at first because it looked f*cking realistic, shadow, lightning and all. I guess if you're a bit trained stuff like that is no issue for you, but damn... I wish I could do that. I mean, it really was like... why the fuck is he studying? He's insanely good with the 3D stuff already, obviously!
I can't wait to see his finished clip.

Also, cut that with not working after friday... I'll come in on monday instead, but that is good, as it gives me the whole friday to work on presents.
