Guerilla Gardening

Am Samstag war ich Mittags auf einer ausnahmsweise mal öffentlichen Präsentation zweier Projekte meiner Schule. Einmal 'From Vandalism to Fandalism' und dann noch 'Im Stil von...'. Im Zuge des ersten Projekt gab es auch eine Guerilla Gardening Aktion und als ich ankam, war da ein Mädel allein zugange. Nun ist der offene Boden um die Bäume am Neumarkt beinah so hart wie der Beton, von dem sie eingegrenzt sind, was das aufharken echt schwer machte. Also bot ich ihr meine Hilfe an, auch wenn ich an dem Projekt nicht mitgemacht hatte (hätte ich sehr gerne, aber das noch zu machende Vordiplom hielt mich davon ab, ebenso das Arbeiten). Sie nahm sie gerne an und so... hab ich zum ersten Mal Guerilla Gardening gemacht :D
Morgen oder übermorgen wollt ich noch mal an den Neumarkt, mal sehen, ob die Blumen dann noch da sind...

Saturday at midday I was at an (rare) official presentation of two projects from my school. One was 'From Vandalism to Fandalism' and the other was 'In style of...'. The first project did - among other things - guerilla gardening and when I arrived there, one girl was working on it alone. Well, the 'earth' around the trees there is nearly as hard as the concrete surrounding it, so it was quite hard to get into it. I offered my help, even if I didn't take part in the project (I'd have liked to, but my pre-diploma kept me from that). She took it and well... so I did guerilla gardening for the first time :D
Tomorrow or the day after that I want to go to the Neumarkt again and I'll have a look if the flowers are still there...
